Project Management Base
PROJECT MANAGEMENT BASE – 1st Edition November 2025
The Samothrace Foundation is pleased to announce the online training course “Project Management Base,” fully funded by the Samothrace ecosystem, aiming to extend and strengthen specialized professional skills in the sector.
The course is delivered by RINA SERVICES S.P.A., a recognized and accredited training institution. At the end of the course, a Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who have attended 100% of the scheduled lessons and passed the final assessment test. The certificate is valid for initiating the ISIPM-Base® Exam and Certification procedures directly with the Italian Institute of Project Management (ISIPM).
Course Details
Total Duration: 24 hours.
Delivery Mode: The course will be held via synchronous video lessons, with each lesson lasting 8 hours.
Schedule: The course begins on November 8, 2025. Lessons will be held once a week on the following dates: November 8, 15, and 22, 2025.
Cost: Free.
Maximum Participants: 12.
How to Apply
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent/higher qualification.
Application: To apply, you must complete the online application form provided in the official notice.
Application Deadline: October 16, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
Selection Process
After verifying eligibility, a ranking list will be formed based on the chronological order of application submission. In any case, 2/3 of the available places will be reserved for employees and/or collaborators of partner entities or companies of the Samothrace ecosystem, with priority given to employees and/or collaborators of the Foundation’s members. The official ranking list for participation will be communicated by the Foundation, through publication on its website, on October 20, 2025.
Selected applicants will be asked via email to confirm their participation within 3 working days of publication.
Course Program
The course is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of project management fundamentals, techniques, and methodologies.
Module 1: Foundations and Context: Introduction to projects and project management; organizational structures; program, portfolio, and project governance; project life cycle and success criteria.
Module 2: Technical and Methodological Knowledge I: Management of project integration, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
Module 3: Technical and Methodological Knowledge II: Management of contracts, procurement, risks, costs, configuration, and changes.
Module 4: Monitoring and Quality: Validating project progress; managing information, documentation, and quality; standards and regulations.
Module 5: Behavioral Skills: Communication, leadership, motivation, team working and team building, negotiation, conflict and crisis management, problem-solving, and ethics.
Final assessment test.
