MIA: Manager of Artificial Intelligence – 1st Edition October 2025
The Samothrace Foundation is pleased to announce the “MIA: Manager of AI” specialized training course, fully funded by the Samothrace ecosystem. This course aims to expand and strengthen specialized professional skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and the Internet of Things.
The course is delivered by A-Sapiens Business School, a recognized training institution. Upon passing the final exam, participants will receive a certificate of achievement from DIBRIS (Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, Robotics, and Systems Engineering) of the University of Genoa.
Course Details:
Total Duration: 70 hours.(40 hours of live/recorded video lessons,30 hours of preparatory e-learning).
Delivery Mode: A blend of e-learning (available 24/7) and live video conferences. Synchronous and asynchronous options are available; recorded lessons will be accessible the day after the live session.
Schedule: From October 6, 2025, to November 17, 2025. Live sessions are held on scheduled days from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM.
Cost: Free.
Maximum Participants: 20.
Minimum Attendance Requirement: 90% of video lessons (live or recorded) and 100% of the e-learning module.
How to Apply:
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent/higher qualification.
Application: To apply, candidates must complete the online application form.
Application Deadline: October 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
Selection Process:
Participation is subject to a selection process based on eligibility criteria. A ranking list will be created based on the chronological order of applications received. Two-thirds of the available spots are reserved for employees and/or collaborators of entities partnered with the Samothrace ecosystem. The official ranking list will be published on the Samothrace Foundation website on October 3, 2025.
Course Program:
The course is structured into two main parts: a preparatory e-learning module and a series of live video conference modules.
Part 1: E-Learning (30 hours)
Module 1: Project Management Fundamentals: This module is available 24/7 and it is recommended to complete it before the live lessons begin. Topics include the project lifecycle, stakeholders management, success criteria, and organizational structures.
Part 2: Live Video Conferences (40 hours)
Module 2: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and the Role of the AI Manager: History and evolution of AI, and principles of AI systems management.
Module 3: Regulatory Landscape and Legal Aspects: Covers law and ethics applied to AI, including GDPR, NIS2, and the AI Act.
Module 4: Technological Foundations of AI: Introduction to AI programming tools, Machine Learning algorithms, Neural Networks, and Deep Learning.
Module 5: AI Project Strategy and Management: Focuses on developing an AI roadmap and managing human resources for AI projects.
Module 6: Data-Driven Decision Making: Covers risk analysis related to data, system documentation, and supply chain management.
Module 7: Innovation and Sustainability with AI: Explores the relationship between sustainability and AI, the concept of “Trustworthiness” in AI, and implementing an AI system in a company.
Module 8: Project Work: A practical lab session for the development and presentation of the final project work (AI Roadmap).
